Privacy Policy

Last updated:

This policy explains how Sinctera Limited ("Sinctera", "we") collects, uses and protects personal data, in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486) of Hong Kong.

Personal data we collect

This website has no forms and no user accounts. When you email us, we receive the details you choose to include, such as your name, company, contact information and the content of your message.

Our hosting provider also processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the website and protect it from abuse.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, prepare proposals you request, and provide services you engage us for. We do not use them for direct marketing without your separate consent.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us run this website and our email, currently Cloudflare (website hosting and security) and Google (business email). These providers may store data outside Hong Kong.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we have a contract with you or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Mobile apps

Apps published by Sinctera Limited collect only the personal data needed for the features you use. The types of data an app collects, and why, are shown on its App Store or Google Play listing and, where needed, in a privacy notice for that app. If an app lets you create an account, you can delete the account and its data from within the app or by emailing privacy@sinctera.com.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies.

Your rights

You may ask to access or correct the personal data we hold about you, or ask us to stop using it. Email privacy@sinctera.com and we will respond within the time required by the Ordinance.
